Haiti Facts

Hey! So far I have made $40.10. I know it's a weird amount. My mom said I can have all the loose change around the house. :) Thanks to Missy Seals and my Nana Betty Mabe for giving a
donation! Kathy Collins made a order for 10 bookmarks! 5 dogs and 5 song notes!
THANK YOU!!! :) I have recently sold bookmarks at my church. It was fun! I made
about $20.00. I have made some new bookmarks! Here are some pictures from a
book called, "Haiti Enchantment of the World" by Jean F. Blashfield. I hope you like them! :) The picture of the bird is the national bird. "The Hispaniolan trogon is Haiti's national bird. About 12 inches (30 cm) long, this colorful bird has glossy green wings, a red belly, a grey throat, and a dark blue tail. The national bird was chosen by Haitian children in a popular vote. The Hispaniolan trogon is rapidly disappearing from the Massif de la Hotte."
One of my friends makes bookmarks too! Her name is Hannah. But she doesn't make them for Haiti. She makes them for Benin. She has a blog. If you want to know more go to www.bookmarksforbennin.blogspot.com.
Love,
Leigha
